![]() Leader of: The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypseįeatured In: Darksiders II, The Abomination Vault, & Death’s Door He also knew that Death would be back the moment anyone broke the 7th seal.Titles: Kinslayer, The Reaper, Rider of the Pale-Horse No, I'm pretty sure Crowfather knew exactly what game he was playing and guided Death through space and time to ensure that he would do what needed to be done. Also by embedding it into Death's chest, he was sure that Death wouldn't find a way out this time (he already cheated the Council with the Amulet by not throwing it into the Abyss (Oblivion would be an even better choice if you asked me but perhaps a bit too cruel) and instead giving it to Crowfather). It is also how Death ended up with Dust, his crow), because Crowfather knew he was going to need it due to what Abaddon had done to the Well of Souls and he also guided Death in his decisions to make him realize that he couldn't resurrect the Nephilim for the safety of Creation and to redeem his brother. He was given the amulet back (Death gave it to Crowfather for safe keeping shortly after the Battle of Eden, in exchange for the secrets of the amulet. Death was sent to the Forgelands to see the destruction of Corruption. Because, he knew it had to be done to put Death on the right path and because he know he would survive as a Dead Lord later on. Why? For the same reason that Crowfather send him to the Forgelands first instead of the Kingdom of the Dead and the same reason that Crowfather fought Death, knowing it was a death sentence. So I think the portal didn't only send Death to the Forgelands, he was also send through time. And it is only in the transition between The Veil and the Forgelands, Death has been knocked out for an unmentioned time. Death's journey starts 100 years before the ending of Darksiders, yet ends at the same time, meaning he is missing some 100 years. We have a hint of this when he sent Death the Forgelands. So in short, Crowfather likely has some knowledge about the future and knowledge of the Chronosphere. We also have seen examples of a Reflecting Pool being used to gaze into the future. A true master could use to travel through time, past and future and beings like Lilith and Samael have taught themselves these abilities (to a lesser degree) as well. But we also know that there were old masters that controlled time, by wielding the Chronospheres. DARKSIDERS CROWFATHER KINGDOM OF THE DEAD HOW TOIf anyone knew how to do it, it was Crowfather. Crowfather is an ancient Old One who spend his eons collecting knowledge and secrets (he is the Secretkeeper and the most knowledgeable being in Creation) that's reason why Death sought him out to find a way to redeem his brother and erase the crime. It is very likely that Crowfather knew how the game would end, the moment that Death came searching for him. If some1 know why crowfather did that tell me I really want to know more about the lore. This is just a Hypothesis I made thinking a bit in the game during my playthroug. When I was in the Earth I started thinking about that more and more to end to the theory or the hypothesis that crowfather did knew in the start that YOU gonna end fighting absalon and the soul hole to restore the fate of you brother so HE ENCRUST the Soul collar containing the nephilim souls INTENTIONALLY TO KILL YOU IN THE PROCESS. Death said he want to go to the tree of life to save his Bro but the Crowfather rejected his offer and with some weird shit put the collar with the souls in his chest and etc etc. Is stated that Death filled a collar with the souls of all Nephilim race, during the prologue you encountered Crowfather wearing the Collar (For some reason that idk) the little things I know about that Npc is he has a power related about the future/the secrets and stuff like that (correct me if Im wrong). DARKSIDERS CROWFATHER KINGDOM OF THE DEAD PCI played this game back in the day on Xbox360 when I was more young and didn't understand a shit, now Im replaying it on my pc because Im interested in the lore and thing. ![]()
